5-13_xp-2k_dd_ccc_wdm_enu_29124.exe for 32 bit

Like I said, installed, but with some options missing in CP.

As you can see, that's the very same 34.2MB file I referenced, which doesn't
include CP. (Speaking of the 32-bit installer here.)

Even the name of the file states what it has in it.

Take a screenshot of the installer for us showing both CCC and CP as options
for installation.

I'd like to see that too <g>!

Thanks for posting those 'shots.

I'm d/l the file and will see what happens on my kids PC.

It's very, very strange indeed.

I always use custom install and those options are there for some time now.

Y'all smokin crack?!

I always select 'custom'.

There are only []drivers and []CCC as options.

No CP option.

Tony

Just uncheck the ccc option and cp will be installed automatically.
Now this is up to version 5.12 , can't comment on 5.13 since I don't like
those and ccc works just fine on my machine.
Besides, you all should think some more, these 5.13 are released way too soon
to be much different from the previous.
There are probably some minor game bug fixes added. In any case,I gain 5
points in 3d05 with the 5.13.
So I stick with 5.12 for now...

No CP available for install here. I even stopped the install and
checked which files were extracted to see if anything was hidden.

When you install new drivers do you run the CAT uninstaller first?
Perhaps you don't and the installer is seeing the previous CP still
installed. I always run the CAT uninstaller before I install a new
version so that I get a clean install and never saw the CP option with
5.13 drivers. There was a version of 5.12 that contained both CP and
CCC though.

Same here. Custom install showed CCC only, no CP.

Side note: You'd think ATI would have not allowed the installer to
proceed (would have ghosted out the next button) if all three check
marks were removed. Software panicked and exited very badly. LOL

Just to make this point clear, I always run the ATI un-installer before
updating.

But as a test I let the 5-13_xp-2k_dd_ccc_wdm_enu_29124.exe package
extract and I went to the custom dialog. CP was not an option. I did
this with neither my current driver, WDM or CP un-installed.

So that's not it.

Of course, I canceled (well killed) the installer before anything went
further.

As differentiated from the uninstaller in Add/Remove how?

I guess that or something related is the only explanation. Or we're being
Punk'd, which I really hope isn't the case.

They were still separate downloads. "Display Driver, Control Panel"
(26.1MB) or "Display Driver, Catalyst Control Center" (34.9MB)

Didn't run the uninstaller the first time, but just for something to do,
I ran the uninstaller, rebooted and ran setup, still had the CCC or CP
options. Chose CCC this time just to see what the fuss was all about.
No problems so far.
Got me stumped also.
