Bummer :( if anyone finds a CP version please post a link

Even if it's not there (and hidden on the site like last time), why not just
download the driver only? Shouldn't the previous CP carry over? I don't
think it's been updated in a long time anyway (one person recently said 18
months, though I don't know if that's accurate).

Check out the drivers for the Fire 2200/2400 PCI. The 5.12 versions
had the CP, 5.13 not out yet for those cards.

No the previous version of Control Panel will not work. The best thing is to
uninstall CP and just install drivers.

Really?

Seems to be working ok for me - albeit without much testing yet.
I just installed the 5.13 vid-drvs and the WDM drvs over the 5.12
CP appears to be working fine

Old CP works fine with 5.13 here.

The only issue I've heard about and seen is that under some circumstances,
the SmartGart tab isn't there. Not sure why. Some combination of
uninstalling/reinstalling the driver and CP would likely fix that.

So far, no sign of the CP version.

Anybody besides me tried a custom install and noticed that both
CP & CCC versions are in the newest download??

Worth a try,

I'm going to go out on a limb and say no. That doesn't make any sense. Well,
it does (more choice the better), but it doesn't make sense that ATI would
provide such a beast at this point.

I just installed 5.13 last night and used custom install and didn't
see that option.

I always use custom install and those options are there for some time now.

Y'all smokin crack?!

I always select 'custom'.

There are only []drivers and []CCC as options.

No CP option.

I just tried it again and there was a third option:

[]Free pizza

You select it, enter your address, and within 30 minutes, sure enough,
there's a knock at the door.

Just installed 32 bit version on WinXP Pro & 64 bit version on WinXP 64
Edition. Both had the option for CP or CCC. Tried CCC on XP 64 and it
wouldn't even open. Some options are missing in 5.13 though. VPU
recovery is the most obvious.

Good Luck Tony, but it worked here,

You must be downloading it from a Very Special Section then, since I can
assure you that the (still) 34.2MB "5-13_xp-2k_dd_ccc_wdm_enu_29124.exe"
file does NOT contain CP. You'll need to point to the specific file you're
talking about, since it's not this one.

5-13_xp-2k_dd_ccc_wdm_enu_29124.exe for 32 bit
5-13_xp64_dd_ccc_29127.exe for 64 bit
both downloaded from ATI site:
https://support.ati.com/ics/support/default.asp?deptID=894&task=knowledge&folderID=27
on December 22, 2005 about 5:30 am.

Like I said, installed, but with some options missing in CP.

Laters,

That tends to happen when the old CP is not uninstalled and can be
fixed with some registry modifications.
