Assumptions regarding a new post!

Agreed, it is clunky. But I have no clue how to use or where to point OE
Newsreader. And I moved My Documents. But now PageMaker won't open and I get
an error every time I try to open a webmail message. I may regret it but I'm
moving it back (because it didn't solve my other problems anyway; neither did
changing the target in the shortcut properties).

Is the MS newsgroup Server/Account, no username/password required.
Open OE Newsreader and add the above account, download the groups and
subscribe as required.

Your various Apps may have locations defined in their properties for data
files and or temp files.
If your apps give problems when My Documents are moved, its something
specific to your PC
