I'm not. And Boomer's not. Jeez! Sometimes we chat; sometimes we just
provide what's asked for. The latter isn't rude. If it is, then the
act of *not answering* every post - the ultimate not-chattting - is
the rudest possible thing one can do. :)

Hmpf. You got me. I am just angry that you and Boomer make sure that
this newsgroups is a place where one can stay. Hmpf. :/

Well, no, I think that not giving an answer is sometimes better than
giving a rude answer. BTw, I think that you sometime chat a bit to much,
isn't there a newsgoup alt.comm.chat for this? :P

bye,

I like places were useful people can remain. Do you wish it to be a
place were the contributors (which is not to say everyone) can't stick
around?

Once again, providing a link that might be helpful is not rude. It
*can* be discussed, too, and often is -- but lack of discussion doesn't
make posting a useful tip rude.

I don't know of that one. :)

Boomer's been changing the email address in his/her/its newsreader
about once a week too. Been kinda hard to keep in the bozo bin.
Louis

Then ether learn to filter or get a free news client that can...

Ignorance is the second most used excuse for not being able to do
something. Can you guess what the first one is?

As for your hatred of Bommer, if you don't now what a "sage" is by now
you can go find some other group to troll... Until then:

*Thunder-Plunk* the shot heard around the Internet...

Where is the hatred in my remark? The use of the word "bozo bin" ? Grow up!
I just don't see the need for someone to change the emaill address in their
news reader on a weekly basis. Usually trolls do this to avoid the bozo bin.

I agree. Anyone who changes their address *weekly* is certainly a
troll.

[Edit: Contex fixed]
Post slippage, and too much slippage. The original message was meant
for both "DeeDee" & "3c273". And taken together your support seams to
point to a mutual hatred of Boomer...
I agree.

I do find your response a little weird Boomer...

Yes, I too think weekly email changes can be a bit extreme, and trolls
often use it, but inadvertently calling yourself a troll for using such
a tactic to eliminate spam? I just can't believe that... };8)

Those who are too lazy (the #1 reason) to find out how to filter on the
Usenet do not deserve my pity. Complaining just makes you look worse
then the person you filtering out. That is what I was trying to convey
to them.

PS: My email change had nothing to do with you "3c273", you're not that
important, so get over yourself.

I don't recall saying it did.
Plonk again!

one reason could be that most ISPs (here in Germany for example)
generelly dont offer any binaries NGs.

I already knew that Germany sucks except Octoberfest and cars, but
that's all time low if you have majority of ISP's that don't offer
full newsfeeds. Here in Finland competition of ISP's is very hard,
many different companies have very low prices for DSL-connections.
People can only compare ISP's from their level of service, one of
them is providing good Usenet News feed and storing newsgroups for
a long time.

(These were only my personal opinions)

AH!! Octoberfest! Remember the young & beautiful 20something young lass
hoisting 6 of those mugs for me & my friends. Ican taste them now. Even
though it was 20 yrs ago.

Ah!! The mammories!!!
