I'd be interested in hearing precisely what Norton version is involved--this
Symantec Antivirus Enterprise Edition Ver 9 clients. The
uninstall/reinstall process is different depending upon what version of
antivirus was first installed on the machine. I've had to go through 5 - 6
different ways to remove the software and/or manually remove the software on
various workstations. Also I have to tell you that so far the machines that
I've had to do this on do NOT appear completely stable afterwards. I have a
whole variety of mostly microsoft office type problems when the users next
login after I've reinstalled symantec. It's very ugly and I still have at
least 15 more workstations to do this on so who knows what else I'll see out
there.
