Simple

First goto edit then mark as read and then delete the emails.Then delete
them from deleted items.
 
Same problem here. I could not delete messages in my deleted items folder.
I tried multiple solutions, but yours was the only one that worked for me. A
pain in the rear-end, but a viable solution to the problem until MS figures
it out. I'm so frustrated with Vista and all new 'updated' programs that I'm
seriously considering ditching the $3000 Dell Laptop I just bought and going
with a Mac.

Can I have the Dell laptop please?
 
I tried what Frank suggested could not move the Wildows Mail folder to the C
drive, I cannot send out any messages as this error one is still blocking it
any other suggestions??
 
deleted items folder, 1-edit-select all-delete.keep repit doing, might sound
stupid but works- it will deleted 1 by 1 ,take time if you have a lots to do.
 
I have tried the suggestion below, and it worked for me, this is the only
thing that worked after two months of seeking a solution. Thank you so much.
