hey,

i want it so i can add a new folder in win explorer without having to
do the following:

rightclick > new > pause while subwindow opens > add new folder

doing it from the toolbar menu isn't much better (alt-f, n, f or
whatever it is)

i used to be able to do it with a desktop helper called coolkeys but it
stopped working for some reason. anyone got any solutions?

preferably i would just have to hit some hotkeys like ctrl-alt-f or
something like that.

thanks!

As addition to the solutions given in other posts, have a look at Tracker.
It's an Explorer alternative with many features including configurable
colours, graphics viewing, and makes moving or copying files easier. Ctrl-N
produces a new folder. I use it in XP but I think it works in W98.

"little"!!

newfolder 68 Kb
mdfolder 28 Kb

the skinflint tendency

What do you save? disk space? ram?

0.0068 cents vs 0.0028 cents
time to read filesizes : 2 cents
time to read filesizes : 1 billionth of your life

if the difference was 10MB it just may have been worth looking

thanks guys, i now have easy new folder access!

went with bxNewFolder due to the new folder by hitting F12 ability
mentioned.

Don't have a download link, but I do have a copy of FolderJazz v1.0 If
you want to send me your email, I'll email you a copy.

Now if someone could provide a working downloadlink for Folder Jazz, which
is 5Kb zipped:

I found it at this German site as part of a 10 practical Tools package that
is 1.00 MB
in size if anyone is interested.
