"add new folder" in win98 without right-clicking?

hey,

i want it so i can add a new folder in win explorer without having to
do the following:

rightclick > new > pause while subwindow opens > add new folder

doing it from the toolbar menu isn't much better (alt-f, n, f or
whatever it is)

i used to be able to do it with a desktop helper called coolkeys but it
stopped working for some reason. anyone got any solutions?

preferably i would just have to hit some hotkeys like ctrl-alt-f or
something like that.

bxNewFolder adds a "New Folder" button to the toolbar of Windows Explorer.
It also provides a hotkey (F12) to create a new folder within the Explorer
quickly.

The little app here adds 'new folder' directly to the right click menu
in Explorer

As addition to the solutions given in other posts, have a look at Tracker.
It's an Explorer alternative with many features including configurable
colours, graphics viewing, and makes moving or copying files easier. Ctrl-N
produces a new folder. I use it in XP but I think it works in W98.

thanks guys, i now have easy new folder access!

went with bxNewFolder due to the new folder by hitting F12 ability
mentioned.

Nice find. Just tried it, works like a charm on win 98SE.
Looks like a winner in the smallest-solution-for-a-easier-way-to-create-a-
