Ad-Aware SE 1.04

There WAS a problem with version 1.04 which was quickly fixed (within hours)
and a new version 1.04 put out for download......so don't blame the
operator. You may have gotten the new and improved one.....

Well ... I wish I was as lucky. I just re-downloaded it and I am
still having a problem with it freezing at around 155000 files. ?
Any Ideas?

Sounds like you still have the original one......and there is absolutely no
way to tell the difference via version numbers......did you try Major Geeks?

To be honest, I reverted to version 1.03 and will stay with it until I am
sure my 1.04 is going to be OK. It was freezing on me as well.

I downloaded from Major Geeks and the version was the improved one. No
problems at all. Using Win XP Haome SP-2

Yes ... I downloaded it from Major Geeks .... and also from
download.com. ..... Same results. Guess I will go back to 1.03 too.
Maybe they will get it fixed in the near future.
