Haven't spammed acv with this in a couple of months,
lol!)

UPDATE! New pic in gallery! And GUESS WHAT? It's
another female! Now there's FIVE of us! And she's a
redhead, too! (Hey, Nicky! Ya gotta dye your hair!)

If you've been asleep for the past few months, here's
what it's all about...

The purpose of the gallery is to show the world (wide
web) some of the faces behind the knowledgeable,
helpful, witty, smart and smartass, and yes, even
annoying and <cough> troll posters of the
alt.comp.virus newsgroup. (You Are Here.)

The gallery is for regular, semi-regular and alumni
posters from this ng. (Read: Lurkers need not apply.)
AV vendors can submit their photos, too -- if they
post here.

I'll include a link to your website or personal home
page, but no e-mail addys, for obvious reasons. ;-)
You'll be identified by your ng nym, or real name --
if you use it.

I have a couple of problems.

1. I don't have the software to manipulate any images with the control
necessary to reduce their size without degrading picture quality and

2. My monitor is a second-hand one with poor brightness. (One Windows
game I tried to run would have been great except that some of their
blue-on-black images needed to solve their puzzles showed up on my
screen as black-on-black.) What I see is *not* what I get. A lot
of images reqire lightening a lot in order for me to view them and
they would look like pale over-exposures for anyone else. I currently
cannot afford a new monitor.

Perhaps you could grab whichever image you want from my web site
and process it appropriately for your gallery with whatever software
you use (but, please, no clown shoes[1]).

Norman......you are going to have the Americans thinking we are all bearded
hippies up here, grin. But on the other hand, what can I say.....you are a
Maritimer!! LOL (as was my Dad)

I am vainly trying to remember where Chebucto is.......oh damn, I know why I
know that name......there is a huge plantation in Jamaica called Chebucto
and we (Jamaican genealogists) know there is a NS connection.....just not
sure what or who. Maybe you should have inherited it......grin!!

That I understand. What I don't understand is that you apparently
overlooked the fact that when Bart pulled his picture out, you could
have done some site owner manipulations and wound up with
Clay under you instead of Nicky (heh heh).
