A8N SLI Deluxe Problems w/ SLI

Oh, and another thing, what happens if you put in just one card, in
either slot? What happens if you put the SLI-selector card in the
one-card-position, with one vidcard or with both vidcards in the machine?
 
I thought I'd post an update as I've finally had time to try out some
things.

I put the system back in non-SLI mode and managed to get the bottom
card installed in the top slot without draining everything. That card
works there. I then removed that and put the top card back in the top
slot. No video signal and Windows doesn't show any video cards in the
system at all. I tried swapping power connectors, but no dice. It
simply seems the top card is kaput...
 
Nope, but I've spoken with the manufacturer and they've agreed to fix
the system, so hopefully I'll have a functional system again here soon.
 
Wow! I just saw this note. I hope you do realize there are other Tim
Stevens' in the world. I don't live in Ontario... or in Canada for that
matter. I live in NY, somewhat close to Kingston NY, but a few hours
north of that even.

Sorry to disappoint...

You are right. This was a stupid mistake on my part. I am sincerely
sorry.
