We probably could have nurtured some interesting life-forms, had we kept that lot in an incubator :p

Hoping your water is clean and clear Taffycat, just revisiting some older threads and couldn't resist dropping in on this one and seeing if alls ok!

Yes, our water has remained crystal-clear since that incident, thank you for asking, although the "temporary" repair is still in place. We were told that mains pipework was going to be reconfigured, just outside our property, but of course, that hasn't happened - yet.

Have to confess that I still occasionally find myself checking for signs of any discolouration. ;)
