3D Mark 03 ?!

a thought occured to me

Are your direct 3d settings at "Balanced"? A higher setting will mean benchmark scores are lower....
 
It sounds like you've turned up a setting which makes the visuals in a game look better but it also takes down the performance. Check to make sure you havent turned on any AA (Anti Analising) or any Anistropic Filtering. Its a 90% chance you have boy, so look hard ;).

Thanks Reef - i would have done a screenshot thing, but seeing as i gots an ATi card thats a bit hard as everythings different lol...

I bet he has got something like D3D right up lol...!

lol What's that ?! And where do i go to find it and change it ?! lol

And Reef yeha i did have it on 2x lol i changed it to application controlled now gunna try 3dmark03 again lol :D

He only has 512MB aswell ! When i have 1024MB ! :( AND... I have a Gainward !!! lol

Just played Doom 3 for the first time and far cry, i got scared of Doom 3 ! lol It's really intense ! I kept getting shivers up my spine when a zombie suddenly appeared ! That flashlight is really annoying you can't shoot when it's still on :( Oh well ! Gr8 gam so far ! Played it for 5 minutes lol

I WANT A BETTER 3DMARK SCORE !!! lol :(

At least your getting closer, they are better scores than what you had, so be grateful :)

And AquaMark3 was just like 3DMark and i got a pretty good score when compared to others, still don't have any idea why my system outperforms yours Belloni... what is your full pc spec, motherboard etc, SATA hdd's?

lol NEITHER DO I ! My motherboard is ASUS P4SD-LA i never heard of i personally lol
I have a ATA drive ?! lol I am using Everest to get this infomation lol

Can anyone help me get a better score then Chris ! lol My card should be rinsing his up ! :P :( Grrrr I have o/c it anything else ?!

Why the hell are you challenging my scores?

What will you get out of it... I am not really bothered about this really, but to be honest, why will higher scores benefit you on the forum, you wont notice much difference in quality of your graphics for a measly 500 or so extra 3DMark points.

Thats my opinion,

Imrie, Shut up - you were the one that said "The competitions on, time to thrash my card"...and then get all arsey.

Belloni - check that you have the speeds up at 540MHz Core and 1.2GHz memory. 3D Mode.

If you have those speeds there already, crank up the heat. See how far that baby goes. Also, defrag your hard drive, and run Checkdisk. Then restart, close all un-necasary processes, disable AntiVirus and Internet connection, and run 3DMark on its DEFAULT settings.

Installing the Omega drivers wouldnt be a bad idea either.
 
HAHA too true postill,

But my scores are on barely overclocked speeds.

My card can hit 575/1.14GHZ but i don't wanna as i have no need to crank it up that high for gaming.

lol that's what i was thinking...

The most i could squeeze out of it so far is 552/1.15MHz before it says i should lower them...

Also, where do i find *Checkdisk* and the Omega drivers to download ?!

I have got it up to 8706 with that o/c speed, trying to get more lol

Heya chris, just got my Gainward 6800 i have pu it in etc, i click on properties, advanced, 6800 and i can't find overclock ?!?! lol HELP !!!

Yeah it was the GLH version it says it lol
