Zune: Can you program it

I was wondering if you can program the zune to interface with another
device that would activate the zune to play a particular file. Is there
a newsgroup that deals with the zune. I searched but did not come up
with one.

My advice would be to avoid buying the zune if it's not already too
late.

Word of mouth is that it's not one of Microsoft's finer products.
