Are you referring to the Reliance Mobile ZTE MG880? Are you sure the
installation CD has Vista drivers on it?
Have you tried right-clicking the installer file on the CD and choosing "run
as administrator"?
I'd suggest checking either the vendor or manufacturer tech support for
updated drivers or solutions to your installation problem.

Are the drivers on the CD VISTA drivers?

Have you been to the modem manufacturer's web site to see if they have updated
Vista drivers?

Also, take care to note if the modem's USB cable should be unplugged before you
install the drivers and plugged in only after the driver install or when
prompted to plug in the USB cable during the driver install.

Thanx for the response call bear 66
The drivers are vista drivers "as stated by the manufacturers"
and i did not plug in the usb modem before installing the drivers.
but the response is as stated in my previous mail.
U have Any other solution?

i have already reported the prob. to reliance tech centre ( so called help
centre) and am waiting for a response from them for the past 3 days.
