zoom function outlook mail preview

I know that I should be able to zoom in the reading pane of MS Outlook 2003
by <cntl> <scroll>. It could have to do with the format in which the email
was sent. Perhaps it doesn't work with "HTML" emails? it works only text
format.

Please help me how it work (<cntl> <scroll>) in all format like text or HTML.
Is there other way to fix mail preview is large.

There's no way to make it work with all formats.
