Hello - I am having real trouble with Access 97 on my
computer.
I can't open a 'zoom' box with the error "The Microsoft
Access utility add-in is missing or was changed ..."
Also, when I go to change a module or a form accesses some
VB, a message box with an exclamation in a yellow triangle
appears with no message except and OK button, and when I
click that, it appears again, then when I click OK again,
I get the message "An unexpected error (2950) has
occurred ..." or words to that effect (the error number is
correct). The desired action does not take place.
I've tried reinstalling a number of times, running SR1 and
SR2b but to no avail.
I can still run queries etc but it is a real pain!

I've tried everything the KB article about this suggests
(I think) to no avail also! Will keep on hacking away at
it!

Has anyone been able to solve this problem and can give me
a helping hand as to how to get Access performing
correctly?

The file that houses the Zoom box is utility.mda usually located in the same
folder as the msaccess.exe file which is normally the main Office folder in
the Program Files folder. I'd look for it and rename it, then reinstall
Access.
