ZoneAlarm doesn't work on XP?

I've recently made my PC into a dual-boot system w/ W98SE on the first
partition and XP Home Ed. on the second.
I've been using ZoneAlarm for quite some time now and was trying to use
it with my new XP. For some reason my internet connection fails when I
try to use ZA on XP, but it works just great on my W98SE. Is there
something I could configure differently to be able to use ZA also in XP?
I've been using Sygate FW since I cannot use ZA. Any comments on Sygate?
I connect with HomePNA PCI-card.

Another question:
What happens in XP when I switch users and keep my first user up &
running (with Sygate on); does the other users on my PC still have the
security of my FW?

I have WindowsXP Home ed. and ZoneAlarm works great. You Might have to
disable the XP firewall as there may be a conflict there.

I've been using ZA for over a year now with XP on two computers, and have
experienced no problems whatsoever. Check your configurations.

Zone Alarm does not always work with XP. I have XP HE and Zone Alarm
causes problems. My video gets messed up by leaving shadows and lines
when I open ZA features. My computer hangs up when I try to shut down.
There were a couple of other issues that I can't remember since I have
bee using Sygate for about 6 or 8 months now. I have all the Windows
updates and driver updates for my box. I can't find any answers for
the problems with ZA but I am quite happy with Sygate.
