Hi Group,
I have been running the free version of Zone Alarm (Firewall) for some time
now, and have always been very happy with it.
I see that fairly recently they have brought out a 'Security Suite' that
includes Zone Alarm Pro + an Anti Virus product.
Has anyone installed this? How reliable is it, companies like Trend,
Symantec, Mcaffe etc. have got lots of experience in AV software. Does this
mean their products should be trusted more than Zone Labs who (to my
knowledge) have more limited experience.
Also, my home PC is running Windows2000 Server (I'm a developer, please
don't get into any discussions as to why I need Server) although it is
primarily used as a home PC and many of the 'Server Services' are turned off
most of the time. Anyone know if there are any issues with this and Zone
Labs AV?
Zone Labs response is that it is untested with Server products, and as a
result 'There may be issues with support' however, the demo version seems to
install and run OK.
Regards,
ChrisM
