The freewarefiles.com link is the same as the astonsoft.com program
link.

Maybe it really doesn't matter, and I have broken this rule many times
myself, but here is a suggestion that is perhaps worth following: try
to get the original developers link in order to give them full credit
for the freeware.

The original developers link is usually available from the freeware
compilation site.

You're quite right, of course. It was late and I was lazy.

It's OK, I have a whole Website full of lazy links. It's only more
recently that I have reformed and try to give the original developer
full credit.

I'm of two minds on that. Most often I seek out original site to help
avoid getting infected files, ensure getting the latest version, see
what other apps and information are offered AND to give the developers
full credit. But when the developer seems to be one person with a
light-duty website, I try to download from a trusted archive site
instead to save them some bandwidth, which may save them some money as
well. Netiquette.
