zip and pdf files across a home network

I can't move .pdf or .zip files across my XP home network. What am I doing
wrong?

No idea. Not enough information to even guess. You'll want to post this
question in the XP networking newsgroup. When you post, be sure to tell
them a bit about the network and whether or not you are able to transfer
other files.
