ZDoom 2.0.60 - An advanced DOOM source port.

About:
ZDoom is an enhanced port of the official DOOM source. It features support
for all Hexen editing features (including ACS, hubs, etc.), support for
most BOOM editing features, freelook, jumping, and translucency support, a
Quake-style console, high screen resolutions, removal of the original
DOOM's limits, support for many more music formats (including MOD, IT, XM,
S3M, MIDI, MP3, and MUS), better mouse support, UDP networking, and more.

I believe this requires the FULL Doom game, not the shareware
version.

You appear to be correct. From the site at http://zdoom.org/download.html:

"(Requires a DOOM, DOOM 2, HERETIC, or HEXEN IWAD)"

Here's one that can use the shareware version:

Not only that, but it has a full set of 3D sprites and most objects.
