Will a CNPS7000A-CU heatsink fit on an Asus P4C800? Isn't the
passive heatsink for the chipset in the way?

Thanks
Fredrik

I've got one in my system - a P4C800-E Deluxe. I don't know if the board
layouts are different.

Check this out for incompatibilities: -

You can check out the dimensions required here: -

If you have a small case, the power supply can be too low to fit the Zalman.

Anyway, a great product. I have the ZM80C-HP on my 9800 Pro, which I can
also highly recommend.

I have the P4P800, which has the same layout IIRC, and the Zalman 7000
fits fine.

Does the P4P800 also have the same chipset heatsink as the P4C800? It
seems to be very high.

I have the P4C800-E Deluxe motherboard and the zalman CNPS7000A-ALCU heat
sink fits just fine misses the chip set heat sink . It works great, a little
tricky to install (keep the cross members centered) and use artic silver 5.
Good luck.
