Hello i have a virus on my xp-system that deletes parts of my google toolbar and after a few days the whole toolbar is gone . my usual scanners didnt detect it . so i tried another one : returnil :
it found a few spys and quarantained them. I hope problem is solved. but as i was watching the last minutes of the scan i saw a curious thing: he was scanning a directory z:\ never heard about it. it contained a complede image of the windows xp. When i tried to restart igot a msg that part of windows was corrupt i should do a chkdsk. (dont know how. quite a noob here
Anyone can tell me about it. Part of the virus??? of some kind of automatic backup??? pls help.IM still not sure if the virus is under control now.
