There is a program called ypops that allows you to access your yahoo mail
through Outlook Express or Windows Live Mail. Maybe Windows Mail too. When I
try to install it it says I do not have administrator privileges but when I
go to control panel/user accounts it says I'm logged on as the
administrator. Why won't it allow me to install it?

Even if you are using an account with administrative privileges (and you
should not be doing this for your every day work in Vista), you are not
"superuser" in Vista.

It sounds like Ypops is not truly Vista-compatible or it wouldn't need to
run as administrator (which is why you're getting that message). Contact
the makers for the latest version, patch, workaround, etc. Programs that
are written for Vista understand about running in Standard User space.

try right click on the install file and select run as administrator.
