YouTube Downloader->MP4->WMV

I use YouTube Downloader to capture video off of YouTube (with permission, of
course). It then needs to be converted. It used to download an FLV file,
and then convert it to WMV within the YTD program. They have since changed
it so that it leaves you with an MP4 file, which then needs to be converted
with a second program, WinFF. So far, a pain in the neck, but so good.

But my first video project with this new procedure, when I create clips, the
clips come out with truncated audio (looking at the audio track, it suddenly
disappears) and the final product stops showing any video OR audio at that
point. (The player keeps playing, but there is a freeze frame in the video
and silence).

Anyone else have this problem? PS: I am using WMM for Vista, I don't see a
forum for that.

Might be worth a try to convert the downloaded
clips to the .wmv format...the followiing freeware
can do the conversion:

(FWIW...it's always a good idea to create a System
Restore point before installing software or updates)

Format Factory
http://www.pcfreetime.com/
(FWIW...you may want to uncheck
all the boxes on the final screen)
