This is about a 64MB ATI Radeon Mobility 9000 on an almost 3 1/2 year old
DELL Inspiron 8200.

Please check the picture at the link below and let me know what you think. I
think its the video card; error occurs even outside XP.

I'm not going to answer your question, and here's why: Like others who
are security-aware, I won't click on an embedded link in an email or
news post unless I know who it's coming from and I know that they
intended to send the link. Nothing personal.

Well, Ted I am not particularly concerned about picking up something
nasty since I don't run Windows, so I went to the url (which isn't
correct anyway - look more carefully at it). I even bothered to change
the "/" to a "." and got nowhere with it.

So perhaps it was a malicious post. If it wasn't, I would suggest that
the OP make an effort to describe the problem using Words in nice plain
text if he really wants some help.

http://www.rescuenow.com/ is a homepage for a computer
"service" and the picture does show "lines." I think he has
the resolution set above what his CRT will handle.

I think the refresh rate would be a possibility too.

What exactly is "4service.exe" I wonder, googling has no hits. Its
slightly concerning in the spyware/malware department.

Also given the presence of a registry "cleaner" a f'd up driver or
other such user caused issues is another possibility.
