How do I get rid of the obnoxious, "Your files are
attached and ready to send with this message". Most folks
cannot open the URL attachment because Outlook or Outlook
Express has attachments with a .url extension flagged as
potentially damaging. Go figure!

I don't know whether it's true that "most folks" cannot open .url
attachments in Outlook Express, but anyone who wants to do so can go to
Tools - Options - Security tab and remove the checkmark from "Do not allow
attachments to be saved or opened that could potentially be a virus." The
same thing can be done in Outlook (but I can't say exactly how since I don't
use Outlook.)

As for the quaint message ("Your files are attached..."), the reason for
that, as I understand it, is that some email software doesn't properly
handle messages without a message body. Hence the blurb - it puts something
into the message body. Myself, I just highlight the blurb and replace it
with my own.
