your computer can notrun this version of the operating system

I have downloaded windows vista and have burnt it onto cd and i receive this
message. I have also run the evaluation program which tells me that my
computer is compliant with the new operating system.
How can I resolve this problem?
 
Since you provide little information, maybe you downloaded the 64-bit
version and are trying to install from a 32-bit system or on a 32-bit
computer
If you provide your system information maybe someone can make suggestions
that would help
