your change could not be applied because the code is locked by a dynamic web template

I'm getting this error when trying to insert a hard return in pages which
have a dynamic web template attached. It will let me type, but not return or
insert images. Any ideas?

OK, I edited the dynamic template and inserted a hard return there - hey
presto it now works...
