You need to fix the reminders in Outlook...

....when I have an appointment scheduled, sometimes the reminder for it comes
up over a minute late. This sometimes causes me to be late for meetings,
which is really annoying...

Then warn yourself six minutes beforehand instead of only five. How hard is
that?
