I have two domains. In domain A I have two servers named server1 and
server2 both running Windows NT 4. In domain B I have 1 server named Compaq
Server running Windows 2000.

Here's my problem: When I login to my Compaq Server, I'm able to access
server1 on domain A. When I try to access server 2, I get a popup box
stating "You must supply a password to make this connection" \\server2\ipc$
and then a password box. The computer I'm using to connect to the Compaq
server is running Windows 98.

How do I get around this? Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.

I guess it's a permission issue. I think you are allowed
to access server 1 but not for server 2. You have to
provide the password to connect to server 2.

OR
If you are allowed to access server 2 then your
administrator need to modify permission for your user to
access server 2 on that particular server.

Do I make sense?
