Hello,

I've been having trouble accessing my site via frontpage 2002 (documents in
folders are not available - 7/112006). Steve has been helping me and
suggested I have hosting company uninstall and reinstall frontpage server
extensions.

The web hosting company does not contact me. If there is any communication,
I call them and they then pass the issue onto another company somewhere. I
have no idea what they have tried or what they have done but it appears they
might have uninstalled and reinstalled fpextensions.

Now when I try to login, I get the following message "you do not have
permission....". Any ideas what I need to do?

I can access other sites with my frontpage client and the error occures on
all computers.

Thank you, Jan

The permissions problem is on their end, not yours. They are the only ones
who can help. If you are having so many problems with these people, why
don't you change hosts?

Tom's idea is a great one. Definitely do a bit of research a bit to see if
they are a reseller. Sometimes a hosting company looks like a full-blown
company, but in actuality it's reselling services of another company. They
may not even have their own support, but instead rely on the company whose
services they resell, as it sounds they do.

Hope this helps,

I am new and am having problems with a "new" question - so that is why I am
replying BUT it doesn't have to do with this question - my question is that I
created a website for a company on my laptop - it live - but now they want me
to install Frontpage on one of thier laptops and want to be able to make
changes to the site - how would I go about this? Thank you.

Open the live FP site from the other laptop running FP and either edit it live or publish it to the new laptop
