My setup: Win XP Pro SP1, Office XP SP3, Nod32 Antivirus,
Windowblinds 4.2.
The combination of Windowblinds 4.2 and Nod32 V2 Antivirus is
causing Outlook to hang on the taskbar. Seconds to minutes after
minimizing Outlook to the taskbar I am no longer able to reopen it.
If I either disable Nod32 A/V, or Windowblinds then Outlook works
OK. Its only when both WB and Nod32 are active that Outlook hangs.
A quick fix would be nice, but even just some insight into tracking
down the specific cause of the hangs would be appreciated.
How does one go about diagnosing a Win32 multi-threaded application hang?
I've tried using the MS Windows Debugger on the Outlook crash dump file,
but beyond doing stack
tracebacks of each Outlook thread it hasn't lead me to any understanding
why Outlook is hanging up.
Thanks in advance.
