Hi,
I see there have been a few posts recently about ATI support for Linux.
I'm a *complete* Linux n00b. I'm not prepared yet to mess with things
like recompiling XFree86. I just finished installing RH9 on a Compaq
notebook (went smoothly, much to my surprise) using a Radeon IGP340
chip. I can only get VESA mode to work, and it won't go higher than
800x600 (the panel is 1024x768). Does anyone know of a Linux distro
that has support for the IGP340 out of the box?
Thanks,
