Yes/No displayed after merge with MS Word

I've searched past postings on the yes/no fields and haven't found an answer
to my problem, and request ya'lls help. I have a report generated from a
table that includes yes/no check boxes. The report looks great and exactly
how I want it. In other words, the check boxes show up and either have a
check, or not.

But, I have several folks that do not have MS Office (imagine that!) and
what I do is export it to MS Word, copy, and paste the data (Report) to an
e-mail. When I export the data to Word, the yes/no fields are not displayed.
Is there a way to have it displayed (check boxes and all)? Or is there a
way to circumvent exporting to Word or Excel altogether?

Thanks in advance!

Bob:

Check boxes are graphic elements created by Access reports, they aren't
really font characters, so they don't export. If you want to export to
Word and retain the values they need to be displayed in Access as either
True/False or Yes/No.

Alternately, you can output the report to a PDF file and send that on; most
folks have Acrobat reader on their machines. There are many very good and
very inexpensive PDF printer drivers you can obtain such as:

Win2PDF (www.daneprairie.com)
Zeon Docucom PDF Driver (www.pdfwizard.com)
Cute PDF (www.cutepdf.com) they have a limited feature free driver.

Thank you, that's what I was afraid of. I like your idea of the PDF option.
I'll pursue that. Thanks a bunch.
