I am sooo happy
It has been such a good birthday :)
It started last night when John gave me my pressie from him
it was this huge box full of food

All the things I never get normally because they're either to fattening
or too expensive
or both :)

Cadburys chocolate chip ice cream
The worlds best marmalade (Robertsons)
chocolate macaroons & Afgan bikkies
3 bounty bars (*drools*)
cinamon fruit bread
My favourite lollipops (yes... I confess... there's just something really primeval about lollipops)
toffee caramel sauce
popcorn & crisps
And last but not least....
Cheese :p
You practically have to take a 2nd mortgage out to be able to afford that stuff these days.
but I haven't had cheese for myself in the house for 2 years now *sighs*
I't's the one culinary sin I just can't resist
so I just don't have it around
I'll be able to have cheese on toast
I better stop or I'll drool so much I'll short out the keyboard :)

He said that he thought about getting me things... but decided that we already have too many 'things' and he wanted to get me something that would last :lol:

I could feel myself getting fatter just looking in that box :)
& he topped it all off with a lovely card & a bunch or Jonquils (my favourite flower)

And I am just full of happyness *grinning like a loon*
Oh... & I'm getting fisheys from my Mum :cool:
one of John's boys is giving me his old fishtank & I went down & bought a filter & gravel etc.
Apparently I have to let the water 'turn over' in the tank for a couple of weeks before I put fish in it to get all the nitrate balance right so I haven't got my fish yet
but in a couple of weeks :)
I love fish
will just be goldfish though
nothing fancy
can't afford to run a heated aquarium
but would love to have tropicals one day :thumb:

I'm happy
feel just like a little kid at christmas :nod:

You and me both..I have been known to de-vour a block of cheese in minutes..Sod the knife..I just go cave man style and bit chunks out of it..:lol: :D

after over a week of storms & another one on it's way
it took time out to be sunny just for my birthday :nod:
& right now I am sitting at the computer eating buttered popcorn for breakfast :cool:
lol, sounds tempting MG, but I think my difficulty will be to make sure that I don't try to make it last soooo long that it ends up turning green :)

Nachos covered in melted cheese & sour cream
chips (another no-no but I'll make an exception for this one) covered with gravy & melted cheese
cheese sandwhiches
Tomato soup with cheese...
home made pizza
so many things :)
& it's the really simple things like that that I miss the most
things you won't find in any restaurant or the like

I already know I'm going to run out of cheese before I run out of ideas :)
But what the h*ll
I'll get as much in as I can... ;)

Oh I can feel myself getting fatter again...

But some things are just worth it :cool:

Was a good day too yesturday with the kids coming home from their Dad's giving a a second birthday. I went back to bed so my boy could make me 'breakfast in bed'. He'd said he wanted to, but the thing with me always waking up before him was a difficulty, but, as you see, not an insurmountable one lol.
Was quite cool having two birthdays like that, reckon I'll have to try that one again next year :nod:
