What IE version you have Barbara?
You can uninstall the Yahoo Toolbar from the Add and Remove programs Control
panel.
To Changes The Language on your Browser, please do the following:
This IE7 instructions:
Click start >> Control Panel >> Double Click Network and Internet
Connections >> Double click Internet Options, on the IE Properties window
you will see these Options:
General | Security | Privacy | Content | Connections | Programs
| Advanced .
Click on General Tab (1st Tab on the left) and you will see a Button called
Languages at the Bottom of the windows, please click it.
A window will open under the title Language Preference.
Under the header Called Language above a text entry you will see the
language listed there, you can click on the add button to add English then
Move it up to be your default selection on the browser. Click [OK] then
click [OK] to close IE properties. Try the search does it display it in
English?
If you mean the search engine on IE try on the same window General to click
on Settings Button opposite Search and there you can remove, add search
engine and set it as default.
