I was PMing a few people on Yahoo Messenger when all of a sudden it began to
lag while I typed in one person's PM. I would type what I wanted to send and
hit enter but after I hit enter there would be a 1.5 second delay. I signed
out of Yahoo, signed back in, but it still had the delay. I restarted my PC
and signed back into Yahoo and there was still a delay. Then I uninstalled
Yahoo Messenger and after that I tried deleting the Yahoo folder in Program
Files but it said "Cannot delete msvcp71: Access is denied. Make sure the
disk is not full or write-protected and that the file is not currently in
use." So I couldn't delete the Yahoo folder before reinstalling Yahoo
messenger again. I did a search and I found msvcp71.dll is also located in
Program Files/WINDOWS/system32.
Is this file the reason certain people I PM in Yahoo take me 1.5 seconds
after I hit Enter to receive message? How can I remove it if this is the
problem?
