yahoo messenger grayed out on system tray but works fine

My messenger 6.0 has a grayed out face on the system
tray. Otherwise, it's fine. It can talk, it shows
up on other people's messengers as a bright orange
happy face. What does the grayed out face on my
system tray signify? Thanks
