Yesterday I downloaded the Yahoo photo upload tool.

Now, my home page is set at yahoo.com, and I cannot change it in
Options. When I pull up Options the change home page buttons do not
function.

What can I do?

I assume this is a registry problem.

Thanks

Explain what you mean by "they do not function"? Is the homepage field greyed
out, does an error occur, etc?

You could try uninstalling the software and check if the issue still occurs?
This might eliminate if it's actaully the yahoo software causing the problem.

Yes, the buttons are grayed out.

I uninstalled the software and rebooted, all to no avail.

Group Policy is the only method I know that can grey out your homepage field.
If your in a domaion, you won't be able to change it other than using a reg
file. If your at home, check your local group policy settings- gpedit.msc

That's what I suspected, and that is what it was. I contacted our
help desk and they eventually went into the registry to make the
change back to the company home page.

Thanks
