If you have sigfned up with a non-US branch of Yahoo (eg .co.uk, .com.au,
etc) POP-3 access through Outlook Express remains a free option. It's only
in North America that they are trying the experiment of charging for it.

Mike, I'm in Canada and Yahoo with POP-3 access is free here. I've never
seen anything mentioning any charges for this service.

Does Yahoo do an IP-address-to-country check to make sure non-American
users really are non-American users?
