Get the free program Spybot Search and Destroy. The
instructions on the site that Jupiter sent you to still
leave two entries in the registry that will eventually
trigger a reinstall of Xupiter. Have fun.

To deal with any sort of "adware" and/or "spyware,"such as Gator,
Comet Cursors, Xupiter, Bonzai Buddy, or KaZaA, and their remnants,
that you've deliberately (but without understanding the consequences)
installed, two products that are quite effective (at finding and
removing this type of scumware) are Ad-Aware from www.lavasoft.de and
SpyBot Search & Destroy from http://security.kolla.de/. Both have
free evaluation versions. It's even possible to use SpyBot Search &
Destroy to "immunize" your system against most future intrusions. I
use both and generally perform manual scans every week or so to clean
out cookies, etc.

This is one of the few programs out there that removes
spyware AND gets rid of Xupiter.

Down load and install AdAware 6.0 and Spybot, both are free. Before running
them, make sure to update them. I find it best to use both as they have
different definitions and find different spyware. Both are excellent
software.
