I realize this is a Vista newsgroup but I didn't see any particular group
for XPS documents.
I have a couple of general questions. (1) is there any reason in particular
to use XPS format instead of PDF? I assume that XPS is a pdf-substitute. I
mean, do the pages come out more clear (or with fewer errors) when you make
copies from .doc or .docx, than when you make pdfs from these same file
types (doc or docx)? (2) I saw on an MS page that they give a download for
an XPS viewer. I take it, then, that Word or a browser can't open them up.
Is this correct?
