Xpe & RAID drivers

Hello, I've got a XPe image and I used SDI manager to create the image after
the FBA had run. I've got a built in Intel RAID controller on my mother
board that is going obsolete and I'll have to go with an Adaptec PCI RAID
card. I don't want to create two seperate images, so my question is that if
I create a componenet of the Adaptec Raid controller and add that to my
image, would I be able to deploy that same image to a PC that has the intel
and one that has the Adaptec card?

So if my image is created from a PC that has a intel RAID controller, and I
also have included the Adaptec drivers/component could I take that image and
put it on a PC that has has the Adaptec card, and expect it to work?
 
Assuming there's no weirdness like those two drivers conflicting with each
other on XP-Pro, then this should 'just work' for your XPe image. In fact,
many or most developers include device drivers for multiple brands of HW to
help ensure the image is compatible with a variety of HW. Like including
drivers for ATI and Nvidia video driver so you can swap HW out in the field
without having to regenerate the image.
