XPe 64bit?

Are there any plans on adding a 64 bit version of XPe to the product lineup?
Even though we are developing an embedded device, it will be a pretty
powerful one (with insane amounts of data), so I think we could gain some
extra juice from 64bit processing. Since there is already a 64bit edition of
Windows XP, and XPe is just a componentized version of that, I assume it
wouldn't be too hard to add it! Thanks!

It's a good idea, one i'd like to satisfy as well. I haven't seen a lot of
interest in 64bit XPe other than from a few select company's. Can you
discuss the type of device or market you're interested in that makes 64bit
attractive? Info like this will help me evangelize the need or impact 64bit
will have in the embedded market.

There are differences between 32/64 bit other than a few regkeys and WOW, so
taking this on isn't a simple matter. <grin>

Thank you!

We are working on an ultra-high-end navigation system. Full 3D display with
detailed terrain and high resolution aerial/satellite imagery. We are still
in the research phase, so I can't really say or show anything more..
