I've been to a few sites and have heard comments from other that state the
AMD "Retail" heatsink is crap. So I was looking at different HS/fan combo
for my soon to be OC'ed system. I was at my local Circuit City browsing
around for some new speakers and seen a HS made by Antec, it was called
Antec Solution Plus, it had a copper base with aluminum fins, it looked
small in comparison to the AMD retail heatsink I currently have.
Does the copper base make that much of a difference?

I run a Thermaltake Volcano 11 on A7N8X-Deluxe with a Barton 2500 OC'd to
2153Mhz...I rarely go into the 40's..and that is running the fan at 2576
rpm.It is all copper..there are many companies that make full copper units
of varying speeds. Just take a look around and read up at sites.

The problem is the fan. A Torndo 85CFM fan($18) attached to that HS
works great. Hook it up using the 7v trick it's almost silent and just
as cool as a Volcano 11+.
