you can run a duel boot set up if you system
supports win xp check on your hardware compatability. xp
needs a miniumum of 128 mb memory but rec 256mb. the
hardware comp list will tell you if you can do this

First, be sure you system requirements for XP (It really should exceed those
requirements):

Second, be sure your hardware and software are compatible with XP. There is
an upgrade advisor that can check your system for compatibility issues:

Also note, any firewalls, antivirus, CD burning software and disk utilities
will need to be updated or replaced for Windows XP as pre-XP or 9x versions
of such software are not compatible with XP.
