We share our computer with several other family members.
For security reasons I would like to shut off the feature
that enables the computer to show your log-on name by
simply typing the first letter of the log-on name. Can
anybody help me with this?
 
I'm not sure why the logon name would make any difference it's the password that is important and it is not displayed. If you want the autocomplete feature turned off go into internet options\content tab\autocomplete button and configure it any way you like. I personally turn this feature off completely as it's a royal pain in my opinion. Good luck.

relatives to know even our log-on names.
