Morning All,
I have searched (both here and the net) this but with little success.
I have a 15 XP SP2 workstation isolated network, with 4 2003 SP1 servers,
one server is PDC.
I have set in the default domain policy that all screen savers should active
after 10 minutes and require password to sign back in. This is working
perfectly on all servers and workstation, except one workstation. All
servers and 14 work stations idle for 10 minutes activate their screen savers
and lock, as set in the policy. One workstation will not lock when the
screensaver activates.
As an interesting side note, when you check the screensave properties on the
affected workstation the "idle time" and "sign on required" are greyed-out,
the same as all other workstations, but if you hit "control+alt+del" the
"lock-computer" is disabled. The "lock-computer" being disabled is odd,
since this it is not disabled on any other machine.
The GPO and OU for this affected station is the same GPO and OU for 4 other
machines, but no other machine is having this problem.
If anyone has a fix, or an idea, please let me know.
Thanks.
