XP Word 2000 Spreadsheet

I put this in the wrong group

If I freeze the Headings , I then cannot scroll using the mousewheel, if I
unfreeze the Headings then I can scroll again, I can move in the spreadsheet
using the arrows at the side of the sheet

I have the same problem using a MS Works 4.5a Spreadsheet on XP. I never
found a solution short up updating to a later version of Works, which
I'm not willing to do.

I'm using a Logitech wheel mouse and I can click on the wheel and get a
double headed arrow where I can use the mouse to scroll up and down but
it also lets me scroll left and right so it takes some getting used to.
